The Fives Downtown Hotel & Residences, Curio Collection By Hilton Playa del Carmen

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of all things tourist in this city. The cleanliness was exceptional, from the dust-free surfaces to the fresh-smelling rooms and hallways. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the rooftop pool with its incredible views. The location was perfect, as it was a short walk to Playa del Carmen's 5th Avenue and a variety of restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing quick check-in and even assisting with transportation when needed. this hotel exceeded all expectations, offering a great price that left room in my budget to explore the city's restaurants and activities.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

One of the highlights of our stay at The Fives Downtown was the spacious and clean room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a large bathroom with a rainbow shower that was a unique touch. The hotel also had a beautiful layout with lots of greenery and water features, creating a serene atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff was very polite, engaging, and always ready to help. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic pool area, despite the loud music playing throughout the day. The stable wifi connection was a bonus too.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring all that downtown has to offer. It is right by the lively 5th Avenue, where you can find an array of shops, restaurants, and bars. the hotel is conveniently located near the beach, allowing for easy access to sun and sand. If you're a music lover, you'll be pleased to know that there is a music venue nearby, perfect for catching a show. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. The rooftop pool and bar provide a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views of the city.

Some of the light and white furniture in the room was not as clean as expected, which slightly diminished the overall cleanliness of the space.

The hotel had exceptional cleanliness, a delightful fragrance throughout, and a well-maintained appearance. The rooms were equipped with an espresso machine, ensuring a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making our experience enjoyable. The rooftop PuroBeach offered a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, complete with a pool and captivating beach views. It was a convenient and budget-friendly option, allowing us to explore nearby restaurants and activities.

Good We had a luxurious stay at this hotel, with exclusive amenities that made our vacation unforgettable. the Spa and wellness centre was a highlight, offering body scrubs, massages, beauty treatments and more. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace provided a beautiful and relaxing setting. the restaurant and bar/lounge area were excellent, with a continental breakfast, dinner, and special diet menus available.

the staff were not as polite and prepared as we had hoped, which dampened the experience slightly.

the exclusive amenities and private facilities made us feel like royalty. the spa and wellness center was exquisite, with a full range of massages, body scrubs, and beauty treatments available. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace were also exceptional and surpassed our expectations.

We did encounter a minor issue with the entertainment offered.

The room was clean and accurately described. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Close to popular street and beach. Rooftop pool offers great views.
